Poem for Children – Geoffrey Spurgin

Be not bound by
The rules and restrictions
Of an ever present
Realism.
Just let your heart think
And let your dear mind rest
You will grow up child
Dreamless.
See through facts now
For they will haunt your eyes so soon
Don’t trust, believe. And beware!
You can read yourself into ruin.
